HangTime is the social calendar app that shows you when your friends are actually free, work schedules included and turns that open time into real plans. Send a hang, lock it in, go.
Free on iPhone. Android is on the way.
★★★★★ “Makes it super easy to find times when everyone is available without 10,000 messages back & forth.” - App Store review
The app
No infinite scroll, no growth metrics, no strangers in your replies. Just your people, their free time, and the plans you make together.

How it works
Set your work schedule and the hours you're usually around, connect a calendar already on your phone, or paste a calendar link. You choose exactly who can see it: anyone, followers, close friends, or only you.
Follow your people and their availability shows up alongside yours. Find Time surfaces the windows when everyone's actually free, including whole days off for shift-work crews.
Spot an open afternoon? Pick your people, pick the time, add a note, send. The group chats about it right there, and the first yes (or everyone's yes, your call) locks it in. Know the day but not the who? Find a hang shows you which friends are free.
An accepted hang becomes an event on everyone's calendar, chat included, and can show up in your phone's Calendar app too. Share a link or QR so friends can join on the spot, even if they're new to HangTime.
Taking the social off media.
The conversation isn't under a photo. The social part isn't online. It's in person, with your friends. We just want to help get you there.

Yep, HangTime lets friends share their availability, including work schedules, so you can see who's free without asking. Open a friend's calendar, spot an open afternoon, and send a hang in a couple of taps. Each person controls exactly who sees their free time.
Find Time looks across your calendar and your friends' calendars, events and work schedules. HangTime surfaces the windows when everyone is actually free. Free time mode shows open slots on a day; Days off mode highlights whole days nobody works.
Send a hang instead of a poll: pick your people, pick a time you can already see works, and send it. The group chats about it right there, and it locks in the way you choose, first yes makes it official, or everyone must accept.
Not exactly. Shared calendar apps make the calendar the product; in HangTime the calendar is just the assistant. You never merge calendars or manage a group calendar. You share the availability you choose, and the app's real job is turning free time into plans.
HangTime was built around shift schedules. Set your typical week, overnights included, or bring in your scheduling app's calendar, from your phone or by pasting its link, and Days off mode highlights the days your whole group is off, even when every rotation is different. After a night shift, an optional recovery setting quietly blocks your sleep hours too.
You decide, per surface. Availability can be visible to anyone, followers, close friends, or only you. Every event has its own privacy tier - public, open, close friends, or private and hidden events can show as busy or as completely free.
Yes. On iPhone, pick any calendar already in your Calendar app, Google, iCloud, Outlook, or your work scheduling app, and it's connected in two taps. Events show up as busy time (or not, truly up to you), work calendars become your actual schedule. HangTime reads only the calendars you pick, and only while the app is open. Calendars that aren't on your phone can still be added with an iCal link, and every imported link is encrypted.
No feed, no algorithm, no endless scroll. HangTime is built on one idea. Taking the social off media. The conversation isn't under a photo; it's at the table with your friends. The app's only job is getting you there.
Your friends are freer than you think. HangTime shows you when and helps you do something about it.
