How to import your work schedule or calendar into HangTime

Short answer: paste one link. Find your calendar's iCal URL in Google Calendar, Outlook, or your workplace scheduling app, drop it into HangTime's Edit profile, and its events appear as busy time on your calendar. Tap sync whenever you want the latest. HangTime never reads your phone's built-in calendar, and every imported URL is encrypted.

Your real schedule already lives somewhere — a Google Calendar, a work Outlook, the scheduling app your hospital or restaurant posts shifts to. Retyping it into another app is exactly the kind of maintenance that kills group-planning tools. So HangTime subscribes instead: one link, and your outside life flows in as busy time that Find Time can plan around.

Step 1: Find your iCal URL

Every major calendar can publish a subscription link (a URL ending in .ics, sometimes labeled "iCal," "ICS," or "calendar feed"):

Step 2: Paste it in Edit profile

In HangTime, open Edit profile and paste the link in the calendar import section. That's the whole setup.

Step 3: Sync when you like

Imported events show up as busy time on your HangTime calendar, and a tap on sync pulls the latest any time your outside schedule changes. Friends planning with you automatically plan around it — no announcements required, and always at the visibility level you've chosen.

The security part, plainly

Import, or type it in? Both.

The import covers events. For the shape of your working life — typical week, usual hours, overnights — HangTime's built-in work schedule is often the better tool, and the two work together: import your calendars, set your typical week, override the odd day, and your availability finally tells the truth without you maintaining anything.

One link. Zero upkeep.
